Role Summary

Workhelix is looking for a Senior Product Manager based in the Bay Area who thrives at the intersection of complex data and elegant UX. This role is ideal for someone who has built products in experimentation platforms, analytics tools, or fintech environments where clarity, statistical rigor, and usability are non-negotiable.

You’ll work directly with engineering, data science, and forward-deployed teams to translate noisy data into intuitive interfaces that help Fortune 500 customers understand and unlock productivity with GenAI. You will own products that power core business value—particularly experimentation frameworks, metrics pipelines, dashboards, and AI-augmented insights.

We’re looking for someone who brings exceptional product craft, is comfortable thinking from first principles, and who thrives in a fast-moving, intellectually demanding, and customer-obsessed environment.

You’ll be successful in this role if the following resonate with you and reflect your strengths:

  • Drive roadmap alignment: You can manage and evolve roadmaps across Workhelix’s two flagship products, ensuring they reflect top customer pain points and deliver measurable value.

  • Execute with rigor: You’re skilled at keeping cross-functional teams focused and accountable, consistently shipping high-quality features on time.

  • Right-size solutions: You know how to scope features effectively—shipping fast without overengineering, while still fully addressing the customer problem.

  • Structure chaos: You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and bring clarity, process, and structure so that nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Close the feedback loop: You proactively establish customer feedback channels and integrate insights into the development cycle to guide feature evolution.

  • Fluent in AI tooling: You bring a strong working knowledge of AI tools, both conceptually and practically, and understand how to apply them in your daily product work.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy

  • Own the product roadmap for data-intensive, insight-delivering features.

  • Prioritize product investments that balance short-term speed with long-term architectural and strategic integrity.

  • Partner with the Head of Product and CTO to define milestones, align on KPIs, and deliver measurable business value.

Platform Design

  • Lead development of Workhelix products used to measure GenAI impact.

  • Partner with data science to turn statistical models and economic insights into user-facing features.

  • Ensure statistical rigor in product designs—confidence intervals, control groups, etc.—without over-complicating UX.

  • Partner with Tech Lead to build out platform integrations roadmap to enable customer data ingestion.

User & Customer Discovery

  • Conduct deep discovery with technical end-users (e.g., engineering leaders, data scientists) to identify latent needs.

  • Translate abstract customer goals into structured problem statements, delightful solutions, and product specs.

  • Develop and maintain detailed product requirements, user stories, and journey maps.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with engineering and design on solutions that balance feasibility, usability, and complexity. Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and execution quality.

  • Partner with forward-deployed teams to ensure successful delivery and feedback integration.

Product Craft & Quality

  • Define intuitive ways to present complex metrics, statistical models, and benchmarks to end users who are typically in senior leadership roles (C-Suite, SVP/VP, Directors, Heads of)

  • Drive consistency in interaction patterns across complex user workflows.

  • Establish and monitor product metrics and dashboards to track adoption and impact.

Role Requirements

Required

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years leading data-heavy products in experimentation, analytics, or fintech domains.

  • Demonstrated ability to own an end-to-end product lifecycle in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

  • Deep familiarity with experimentation systems: A/B testing, multivariate testing, statistical significance, cohorting, feature flagging, etc.

  • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and user-centered design for technical audiences. You draw influence from Tufte’s ideas.

  • Experience working closely with engineering and data teams; ability to engage on API, metrics pipeline, and dashboard topics.

  • Track record of strong cross-functional influence and excellent written communication.

Preferred

  • Background in building developer tools or productivity platforms.

  • Fluency with SQL and comfort working in notebooks or prototyping with basic data sets.

  • Experience in high-autonomy team environment.

  • Familiarity with economics or ROI measurement frameworks.

  • Experience with enterprise SaaS tools and security/privacy considerations.

  • Prior exposure to GenAI products and/or AI-enhanced user interfaces.

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive compensation package and benefits.

  • Chance to learn and collaborate with some of the most famous researchers in the AI and digital economy space: Andrew Ng, Erik Brynjolfsson, Andy McAfee, and Daniel Rock.

  • The unique opportunity to help build a company, culture, and products from the ground up with a team that values healthy working practices.

  • A high-trust, high-autonomy work environment.

At Workhelix, we stand committed to ensuring an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available without any discrimination. We believe diversity is critical to our success. Selection for employment will solely be based on qualifications, merit, and business needs. We encourage all qualified individuals to apply!
