Vice President, Operations
- Build and lead high-performing teams across operations and program management functions
- Establish KPIs and operational dashboards to track performance and drive accountability
- Partner with executive leadership to define long-term operational strategy and investment priorities
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence
- Oversee the efficient and effective functioning of all departments, ensuring smooth workflows and optimal resource allocation.
- Supports COO in oversight of business functions including contract negotiations and legal, internal operations including facilities, information technology, human resources, quality, regulatory etc.
- Lead end-to-end program execution across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines
- Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies, tools, and reporting systems
- Monitor program performance metrics and proactively address risks, delays, and resource constraints
- Oversee manufacturing operations including manufacturing engineering and supply chain management
- Scale manufacturing capabilities to support growth, including external contract manufacturing partnerships and internal production, if applicable
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to navigate complexity and lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to operational excellence
- Proven success in launching Class II medical devices
- Deep understanding of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and 21 CFR Part 820 regulatory standards, Good Documentation Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in program management, new product development and introduction, within the medical device or related industry
- Proven track record of managing complex programs from design to production
- Experience in high-growth or startup environments
- Experience working with contract manufacturing partners
- Experience with project management and ERP tools
- Ability to travel domestically as needed
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
