We are currently seeking motivated, innovative, and service-oriented individuals to join our Health Management Team. As a Health Services Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting Department staff and leadership by providing expert guidance on a range of Health Services programs, including: Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)California Family Rights Act (CFRA) and Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Programs.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal partners such as Labor Relations, Personnel Management, Legal, and Equal Employment Opportunity offices. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential to success in this position.

Position(s) exists between N and O Street, on the 4th floor of the fully renovated high rise Labor Agency Building right in the heart of downtown, next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

Position located at 1416 9th St. Sacramento, CA 95814.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month. Working Conditions

This position is headquartered at the New Labor Agency Building (NLAB), a newly remodeled high-rise building. Statement of Qualifications

A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is REQUIRED.  The SOQ should be typed, no more than one page in length, no less than 12 point font, and must include a response to each statement below, including specific examples:

1. Please describe a situation in which you were tasked with the following:

Required to independently identify a problem; performed research to identify possible solutions; completed a thorough analysis; and, wrote a comprehensive report that addressed the problem and recommended a course of action.

2. Describe your experience and actual circumstances where you have demonstrated the ability to multi-task, stay organized, and work independently without sacrificing the quantity and quality of your work product.
