COTA - Travel Contract

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Santa Clara, CA. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist patients in regaining daily living skills and participate in care planning and restorative programs. Qualified candidates who are ready to contribute to patient recovery are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active California COTA license or ability to obtain the state license prior to the assignment start.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Client requires availability Monday through Friday and willingness to assist on weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel COTA experience.
• Experience with restorative nursing programs and assistive devices used in post-acute care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation in long-term care settings.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
• Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• May be asked to help on weekends per client note.
