Position Summary

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk , you will assist in ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments from customers and insurance companies. This role reports directly to the Office Administrator and Chief Operating Officer (COO) . While training will be provided , previous experience in the restoration industry is a plus .

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter daily bank deposits



• Generate and distribute accounts receivable reports



• Attend weekly team meetings to review outstanding balances



• Monitor customer accounts for late payments, irregularities, and missed invoices



• Follow up on outstanding balances with phone calls and emails



• Assist with lien and small claims documentation and tracking



• Help prepare cash flow forecasts and projections



• Research and resolve payment discrepancies



• Perform other administrative or clerical tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field



• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)



• Strong attention to detail and accuracy



• Comfortable using accounting or customer management software



• Excellent communication and customer service skills



• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team



• Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment

Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
