Accounting Manager
Our client, a technology?driven services company, is seeking an Accounting Manager to support ongoing growth and increased operational complexity.
On-site in San Francisco, CA. Job Description:
This is a hands?on role ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, managing a small team, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The position works closely with stakeholders across the organization. Responsibilities:
- Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month?end close
- Prepare and review financial reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Supervise and mentor members of the accounting team while supporting daily workflows
- Strengthen internal controls and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency
- Partner with cross?functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the preparation of audit?related documentation
- Analyze financial and operational data to support management decision?making
- Support ongoing improvements to accounting systems and workflows
Requirements:
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and operational accounting processes
- Experience in both public accounting and industry strongly preferred
- Proficiency with modern ERP systems and strong Excel skills

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
