About the Position
The company is seeking an experienced Project Executive to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across a portfolio of multi-family housing developments. This executive-level role will be responsible for driving project performance, mentoring project teams, managing client and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
The Project Executive will serve as a key leader within the organization, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously while partnering closely with development, finance, preconstruction, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight for multiple multi-family construction projects throughout all phases of development and construction.
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and project support staff to ensure successful project execution.
- Establish and maintain accountability for project schedules, budgets, quality standards, safety performance, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, development teams, and preconstruction professionals to support project planning and execution strategies.
- Review project financial performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain profitability objectives.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across project teams.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, municipal agencies, subcontractors, and industry partners.
- Support workforce development, succession planning, and leadership growth within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and safety standards.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive construction management experience, including leadership oversight of large-scale multi-family construction projects.
- Proven success managing complex high-density residential developments, including podium, wrap, Type III, and Type V construction.
- Experience overseeing multiple projects and project teams simultaneously.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and risk management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with executive leadership, developers, consultants, and operational teams.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methods, construction operations, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Demonstrated track record of developing and mentoring high-performing project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an integrated developer-builder environment.
- Affordable housing project experience, including familiarity with public financing programs and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field.
- Advanced leadership training, industry certifications, or graduate-level education are a plus.
