Job Description: Facilities and Maintenance Specialist

Position Summary:
The Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and upkeep of company facilities, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe, efficient, and clean working environment. This role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and managing repairs while adhering to all safety and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance:

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, tools, and other equipment.
• Equipment On-Boarding.
• Implement and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Work with production manager on equipment maintenance scheduling.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, and local, state, and federal safety standards.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, including SDS and maintenance logs.
• Address workplace hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for employees.

Operational Support:

• Monitor and manage utility systems, including power, water, and waste management.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and order replacement parts as needed.
• Support workplace setup and layout changes, including moving furniture or equipment.
