Overview
Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (ER) – Travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, CA. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,612–$1,711 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital ER. This travel assignment is a temporary opportunity with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ER, including rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and discharge planning for acute conditions
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, assist with procedures, and document care in EPIC
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and equipment readiness; manage airway, vitals, and resuscitation as needed
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge instructions

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NIHSS and TNCC required
- ER nursing experience; recent EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced emergency department environment
- Nursing degree from an accredited program (ASN/BSN)
- Must be able to start on 07/06/2026 and complete the 13-week assignment
