We are seeking a Material Handler for our Burbank location.
Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $21.00 per Hour
Summary

The Material Handler aka Runner is responsible for completing general tasks associated with production requirements, shipping & receiving, material management and inter-office correspondence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and that additional tasks may be assigned to the employee and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.

• Continual lifting, lowering, and sliding of packages of parts into specific locations.
• May be required to load and unload the company truck when necessary.
• Ensure adequate flow and tracking of priority jobs through the shop.
• Physically and systematically transfer materials to any location required based on request.
• Assist Tooling Department in pre-kitting production jobs to reduce down time
• Assist the Tooling Department with tool delivery to machinists and operators by following the Runner Route and schedule.
• Verify Work Order accuracy and completion.
• Verify production timecard accuracy for production department.
• Assist Shipping & Receiving department with bagging and packaging parts and other inventory duties as necessary.
• Transport and deliver correspondence between all departments.
• Assist with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, etc.
• Sort, organize and stock boxes.

Experience and Education:

Years of Experience: One year of related experience and/or training in light industrial environment preferred.

Type of Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) is preferred.
