Position Summary

The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities within the organization

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed

Assist with financial statements and internal reporting

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation

Identify and assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

1–3+ years of accounting experience

Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
