Job Title: Casting Administration Coordinator
Location: Burbank CA
Contract Dates: July 8, 2026 - October 8, 2026
Pay Rate: Up to $32.50/hour
Onsite Monday-Thursday, remote on Fridays.
9:00/9:30 AM-6:00/6:30 PM, with flexibility for production schedules and time zones.
Occasional overtime may occur but should be pre-approved.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Casting Administration Coordinator to support the Television Casting Administration team. This role focuses on administrative operations, contract processing, compliance tracking, documentation management, and performer onboarding activities related to television productions.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. This position works closely with multiple departments including Casting, Production, Legal, Finance, Labor Relations, Payroll, and Studio teams.
Note: This is a Casting Administration role, not a creative casting position. The work primarily involves contract administration, performer documentation, compliance tracking, payroll-related processes, and operational support after casting decisions have been made.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop proficiency in specialized Casting Administration systems and tools.
· Review, prepare, process, and track performer contracts and start paperwork for television productions, including prime-time, basic cable, and streaming series.
· Assist the Casting Administrator with daily contract processing, research requests, and administrative support.
· Import payroll data from payroll providers into Casting Administration systems.
· Process performer payments and related documentation.
· Track SAG-AFTRA clearance status and compliance requirements for performers.
· Prepare and process paperwork related to court approval for minors.
· Scan, archive, and maintain performer records and confidential documentation.
· Maintain detailed logs and ensure accurate tracking of deadlines, approvals, and compliance requirements.
· Manage and update confidential databases containing performer, project, agent, and production information.
· Ensure all documents are processed accurately and within required timelines.
· Support special projects and other administrative initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years of administrative experience .
· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:
· Outlook
· Word
· Basic Excel
· Experience working with administrative software and databases.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
· Professional email-writing and business communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and large volumes of information.
· Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
· Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, professional approach.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following backgrounds are highly desirable:
· Business Administration education or coursework.
· Coordinator-level administrative experience.
· Production experience.
· Casting-related experience or exposure.
· Entertainment industry experience.
· Experience supporting contract administration or business affairs functions.
· Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments.
