SCM Demand Planning Specialist
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt
Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 + Eligible for annual performance-based bonus

Job Summary
We are seeking a SCM Demand Planning Specialist to join our team. This role plays a key part in driving demand accuracy and inventory efficiency by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and Korea. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of supply chain forecasting and planning processes.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, POS data, and seasonality.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and HQ SCM teams to gather forecast inputs and align on demand assumptions.
Analyze forecast accuracy and adjust planning models to improve reliability.
Manage SKU-level forecasting for both new and existing products.
Translate demand forecasts into inventory requirements and ensure optimal stock levels across distribution centers.
Monitor inventory turnover, safety stock, and replenishment parameters to reduce stockouts and overstock.
Coordinate with the U.S. and Korea SCM teams to align inventory strategies with global supply plans.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, SCM, and Finance to align demand plans with business objectives.
Collaborate with HQ SCM team in Korea to align forecast assumptions and monthly S&OP processes.
Support new product launches with accurate launch forecasts and supply readiness planning.
Coordinate with logistics and 3PL providers to ensure timely fulfillment of demand.
Provide regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory health, and demand trends.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecast reliability and planning efficiency.
Support systems integration and tools for automated demand planning and reporting.
Qualifications
3-6 years of relevant experience in Demand Forecasting, Ordering, Inventory Control, and Logistics Management.
Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain-related fields.
Frequent travel may be required; specific locations may vary based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in e-Commerce and/or Retail industry is strongly preferred.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency; experience with other planning tools or systems is a plus.
High motivation for growth, with a willingness to take on increasing responsibility and new challenges.
