Job Summary

We are seeking a SCM Demand Planning Specialist to join our team. This role plays a key part in driving demand accuracy and inventory efficiency by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the U.S. and Korea. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of supply chain forecasting and planning processes.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, POS data, and seasonality.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and HQ SCM teams to gather forecast inputs and align on demand assumptions.

• Analyze forecast accuracy and adjust planning models to improve reliability.

• Manage SKU-level forecasting for both new and existing products.

• Translate demand forecasts into inventory requirements and ensure optimal stock levels across distribution centers.

• Monitor inventory turnover, safety stock, and replenishment parameters to reduce stockouts and overstock.

• Coordinate with the U.S. and Korea SCM teams to align inventory strategies with global supply plans.

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, SCM, and Finance to align demand plans with business objectives.

• Collaborate with HQ SCM team in Korea to align forecast assumptions and monthly S&OP processes.

• Support new product launches with accurate launch forecasts and supply readiness planning.

• Coordinate with logistics and 3PL providers to ensure timely fulfillment of demand.

• Provide regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory health, and demand trends.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecast reliability and planning efficiency.

• Support systems integration and tools for automated demand planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in Demand Forecasting, Ordering, Inventory Control, and Logistics Management.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain-related fields.

• Frequent travel may be required; specific locations may vary based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in e-Commerce and/or Retail industry is strongly preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency; experience with other planning tools or systems is a plus.
