The AR & HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting both the finance and human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service for both internal teams and clients. Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information
  • Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, billing, cash application, and reconciliations
  • Process incoming payments via checks, credit cards, and electronic transfers
  • Prepare AR and payroll-related journal entries and assist with month-end closing activities
  • Support financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements within the Finance and HR departments
  • Support the Director of HR with recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and employee training programs
  • Assist with HR projects and help ensure compliance with employment labor laws, FMLA, and company policies
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and support cross-functional initiatives
  • Stay updated on relevant accounting and HR regulations and policies
  • Answer and redirect phone calls, greet visitors, and support general office operations as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and human resources roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite; ability to learn company-specific systems
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (such as Winteam) is a strong plus
  • Experience supporting payroll processing and payroll accounting
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in English - Spanish speaking preferred

Compensation

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour /full-time position in-office. Schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday – Friday.
