Well Established ADU Contractor Seeking Sales Savvy Licensed Individual

We are seeking a high-performing, licensed construction professional to lead our project lifecycle from initial lead to final payment. This is a unique hybrid role designed for a "closer" who possesses the technical expertise to oversee high-quality project execution.

The successful candidate will serve as the Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) or Responsible Managing Employee (RME) for the company, ensuring all operations remain in strict compliance with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). This role requires a professional who is equally comfortable in a client’s living room closing a deal as they are on a job site managing subcontractors.

Core Responsibilities

Sales & Estimating: Manage incoming leads, conduct professional client consultations, prepare accurate estimates/statements of work, and close contracts.

Project Management: Oversee the execution of all signed projects, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.

Subcontractor Coordination: Vet, schedule, and manage subcontractors to ensure seamless delivery.

Financial Accountability: Ensure full project completion and facilitate client payments. Commissions and bonuses are tied directly to revenue collection and project finalization.

License Compliance: Actively participate in construction operations as the qualifying individual (RMO/RME) for the company’s California Contractor License.

Requirements

Licensure: Must hold an Active California Contractor License and be willing to assign it to the company.

Experience: * Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience in California.

At least 3 years of experience specifically within the Los Angeles market.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Mobility: Valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle for site visits and client meetings.

Compliance: Full understanding of CSLB requirements regarding RMO/RME duties and active operational supervision.
