SODA has partnered with a video AI research company building the data infrastructure behind next-generation video models. Backed by leading investors and operating with a team of just 12 people, they’ve already partnered with top AI labs and generated multi-million-dollar revenue this year.

Video now powers most internet activity — from robotics and gaming to AR/VR and generative AI. This team is solving one of the hardest problems in the space: creating high-quality training data at scale for frontier video models.

The Opportunity

You’ll work across the stack to build systems that source, process, filter, and deliver massive video datasets used by advanced AI teams. The work combines distributed systems, ML infrastructure, data quality, and operational scale.

This is a role for engineers who enjoy ownership and hard technical problems. You’ll work directly with customers building frontier AI systems and help shape how video data infrastructure evolves as the company grows.

What You'll Do

- Build and scale large-scale video data pipelines
- Develop systems for sourcing and curating training datasets
- Create ML-powered filtering and quality control workflows
- Improve infrastructure performance and delivery reliability
- Build internal tooling and dashboards for QA operations
- Work directly with customers on evolving dataset requirements
- Ship systems end to end across infrastructure and product layers

What You'll Bring

Essential:

- Strong software engineering experience with Python
- Ability to build clean, maintainable production systems
- Strong communication skills with technical stakeholders
- Comfort solving ambiguous and technically difficult problems

Desirable:

- Experience with Go or TypeScript
- Early-stage startup or zero-to-one experience
- Active GitHub projects or technical portfolio work
