Associate Attorney - Estate Planning & Elder Law

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of experience to join our Elder Law practice. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter who is not only committed to estate planning and elder law but also interested in ownership and long-term leadership. The ideal candidate should be interested in the opportunity to buy out the practice in the coming years and become a future law partner. This role will have the ability for in-office and remote work based on location and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Estate Planning matters with a focus on Medi-Cal planning (training provided)

• Manage all aspects of Estate Planning, Conservatorships, Probate cases, and Trust Litigation

• Provide compassionate legal counsel in Elder Law

• Conduct client meetings, in-office signings, and remote consultations

• Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic growth and succession planning

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Attorney with 2–4 years of practice experience

• Graduate of an accredited law school

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California

• Strong interest in Estate Planning and Elder Law

• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and desire to build toward ownership

• A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment

• Comfortable with technology and remote work tools

• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and signings

Location & Flexibility

• Based in Orange County, CA (open to candidates in Los Angeles County)

• Hybrid remote: Work from home with occasional in-office presence and client visits

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $86,000 - $110,000 + Bonus Structure

• Path to Ownership: Structured buy-out opportunity within a few years

• Mentorship and leadership development toward partnership
