Warehouse Supervisor

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations within a food manufacturing facility ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are properly received stored and distributed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards. This position leads a team of warehouse associates promotes a culture of safety and quality and ensures efficient inventory and material flow to support production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving storage staging and shipping of food products and ingredients.

• Ensure compliance with GMPs HACCP and all food safety and quality standards.

• Train and lead warehouse associates in safe work practices GMP compliance and proper material handling.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and support regular cycle counts and audits.

• Monitor and enforce cleanliness sanitation and pest control within warehouse areas.

• Coordinate with Production Quality Assurance and Purchasing to ensure timely supply of raw materials and packaging.

• Verify and document incoming shipments ensuring materials meet quality and labeling requirements.

• Operate and oversee use of forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment in a safe and compliant manner.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical training preferred.

• 2 years of experience in warehouse operations within a food manufacturing or processing environment.

• Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of GMPs food safety and sanitation requirements.

• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).

• Forklift certification preferred.

Schedule:

• Full-time; schedule may include early mornings evenings or weekends as needed to support production.
