Description:
The Picker / Forklift Driver is responsible for accurately picking, moving, and staging materials and finished products throughout the warehouse. This position operates a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Pick and prepare orders accurately according to work orders and pick lists.
- Operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials.
- Verify product quantities, part numbers, and locations.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material movement.
- Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Previous picker and forklift experience required/preferred .
- Experience using IQMS or a similar inventory/ERP system preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to read and follow pick lists, labels, work orders, and shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
