Regional Administrator - Ambulatory Surgery Centers
Location: Modesto, CA
Lead Regional Operations and Advance Patient-Centered Surgical CareTake the next step in your healthcare leadership career by overseeing operations across multiple ambulatory surgery centers within a growing surgical network. This opportunity offers the chance to partner with physicians, lead high-performing teams, drive operational excellence, and improve patient care delivery across a defined region.
Ideal candidates will have ambulatory surgery center leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership experience with exposure to ASC operations.
What You'll Do- Provide operational and financial leadership for multiple ambulatory surgery facilities.
- Oversee daily facility operations in collaboration with administrators, physicians, medical staff, and governing boards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
- Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve operational outcomes.
- Build strong physician relationships and support credentialing and medical staff processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop facility leadership teams.
- Support workforce planning, performance management, and team development initiatives.
- Drive quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience programs.
- Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, and physician contracts.
- Partner with corporate leadership on operational reviews, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for service line growth and process improvement.
- Experience leading ambulatory surgery center operations or hospital surgical services.
- Healthcare leadership experience with responsibility for operations, financial performance, and team development.
- Strong understanding of regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
- Experience managing budgets, staffing plans, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Strong physician relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead multiple facilities and collaborate with diverse healthcare teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
