Under the general direction of a Program Manager, the Program and Project Supervisor (PPS) is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the work of a group of analysts who develop and administer the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program. The PPS is expected to provide the necessary supervision to ensure the team is functioning, the BEAD is implemented, budgets, annual reports and audits are completed timely and that direct management is fully informed of progress. Complying with the State of California procurement, fiscal, and program management rules is a key responsibility for the PPS.

This is a hybrid position that will require the selected candidate to report to their assigned headquarter office a minimum of two (2) days a week. Hybrid positions may be eligible for telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California. In accordance with CPUC Telework Policy, telework arrangements are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.Special Requirements

- Describe your experience supervising staff, including how you have set expectations, monitored performance, and addressed performance or conduct issues. Provide a specific example.
- Describe your experience communicating with and managing expectations at varying levels. Provide an example of how you navigated a challenging communication situation.
