Strategic Sourcing Product Manager

Superlanet is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Product Manager to join one of our healthcare clients' VMO in Northern California. This is a hybrid role requiring one (1) day onsite per week and is structured as a 6\-month contract with a high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities <\/b>
<\/h3>

This role is responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives across hardware, software, and SaaS categories, partnering closely with internal technology and business stakeholders to meet organizational procurement objectives.

• Market Analysis: <\/b> Research and analyze market trends and supplier landscapes to identify opportunities, assess risks, and inform sourcing strategies
  <\/p><\/li>
  
  

• Benchmark & Quote Analysis: <\/b> Evaluate supplier quotes and benchmark data using key cost and value levers to deliver savings and optimize total cost of ownership
  <\/p><\/li>
  
  

• Sourcing & Planning: <\/b> Lead end\-to\-end sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, followed by analysis, commercial negotiations, and contract award participation
  <\/p><\/li>
  
  

• Negotiations: <\/b> Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and contractual agreements
  <\/p><\/li>
  
  

• Supplier Management: <\/b> Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers while monitoring performance and service delivery
  <\/p><\/li>
  
  

• Contract Management: <\/b> Draft, review, manage, and ensure compliance with supplier contracts and agreements
  <\/p><\/li>
  
  

• Risk Management: <\/b> Identify and mitigate sourcing, contractual, and supplier\-related risks in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  <\/p><\/li>
  
  

• Cross\-Functional Collaboration: <\/b> Partner with internal departments to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with business objectives
  <\/p><\/li>
  
  

• Reporting & Insights: <\/b> Prepare and present sourcing reports, spend analysis, and forecasts to senior leadership
  <\/p><\/li>
  
  

• Continuous Improvement: <\/b> Develop supplier management frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies with strategic suppliers

  Required Skills & Qualifications <\/b>

  • Education: <\/b> Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
    <\/p><\/li>
    
    

  • Experience: <\/b> Several years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or operations
    <\/p><\/li>
    
    

  • Analytical Skills: <\/b> Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and extract actionable insights
    <\/p><\/li>
    
    

  • Negotiation Skills: <\/b> Proven success negotiating both simple and complex commercial agreements
    <\/p><\/li>
    
    

  • Communication Skills: <\/b> Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
    <\/p><\/li>
    
    

  • Technical Skills: <\/b> Proficiency in Excel and standard productivity tools

  • Strategic Thinking: <\/b> Ability to think long\-term and align sourcing activities with broader organizational goals
