Compensation Range: $23.00-27.00 (Compensation will varies based on the years of experience)

Position Purpose

Under the direction of the Fabrication Supervisor, the Fabrication Specialist is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and company standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality production and supporting operational efficiency within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

This role is expected to achieve the following results, including but not limited to:

• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine fabrication requirements.
• Fabricate metal components using a variety of techniques, including cutting, bending, and shaping.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as cutting machines, presses, and CNC equipment.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize fabrication processes and resolve production issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
• Complete time and production reports or enter required data into designated systems.
• Adhere to all safety standards, including OSHA guidelines and ISO 9001/14001 requirements.
• Follow the organization’s Code of Conduct, attendance policies, and all company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication.
• Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment varies depending on the area of the facility.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas and may include safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection.
