Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Full-time (OT as needed)
Job Summary
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, leading a team of associates, and ensuring accurate, efficient logistics functions. This role requires hands-on experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and operating a sit-down forklift while supporting production and safety goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support warehouse associates to meet daily production and quality standards
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, load, and unload materials as needed
- Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to perform inventory transactions, receiving, picking, and shipping
- Ensure inventory accuracy and proper documentation within WMS
- Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and adjust priorities to meet operational demands
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
- Enforce safety procedures and company policies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments
- Assist with training and on boarding of new associates
- Troubleshoot basic operational issues and escalate when necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead or Senior Warehouse Associate
- Sit-down forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics operations
- Ability to lead by example and work hands-on when needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and flexibility with scheduling
