Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data engineering and cloud-native solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, specifically BigQuery, DataFlow, and related data processing tools
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience optimizing queries for large-scale datasets
  • Solid programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in data manipulation and transformation
  • Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning in BigQuery
  • Experience working with streaming and batch data pipelines in DataFlow or equivalent tools
  • Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and governance principles in a cloud environment
  • Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data pipelines for reliability and performance
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and integration with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
  • Experience working with distributed event streaming platforms & message broker services(Google Pubsub/ Kafka/ RabbitM)
  • Experience with Kubernetes or similar container management tooling
  • Must be in the SF Bay area to be onsite

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $126000/YR - $204500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here .
