Job Title: Assembly Operator

Job Description

As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, and processing of medical device components and products. You will use light tools and equipment according to the specifications and instructions provided in the drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble medical device components and products.
• Utilize light tools and equipment as per instructions and specifications.
• Perform small part assembly with precision.
• Operate machinery and handle chemicals safely.
• Lift and move components weighing 10-15lbs repetitively.
• Ensure accurate data entry related to production processes.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in small part assembly.
• Fluent in reading and speaking English.
• Comfortable working on a production floor with light gowning.
• Ability to operate machines and handle chemicals.
• Skilled in using hand tools and working on an assembly line.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to utilize measurement tools and devices as required.
• Demonstrate good manual dexterity.

Work Environment

The role is set in a manufacturing environment with three main areas: a clean room for assembly and sub-assembly operations, a laser area for cutting and shaping small nitinol components, and a materials area for manufacturing with raw materials. The position requires working graveyard shifts from 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.15/hr.
