Support Services Assistant (General)

Job Description and Duties

Multiple vacancies may exist. Under the general supervision/direction of the Team Manager, Staff Services Manager I, and the guidance of the designated employee, the Support Services Assistant (General) (SSA-G) provides reasonable accommodation services for otherwise qualified state employee, by facilitating travel, visual, and written communication. SSA-G must follow written and oral instructions, be courteous, tactful, and work cooperatively with others. SSA-G must be a safe and courteous driver. SSA-G must make accurate observations of clients and environment, at the direction of counselor.

Permanent Intermittent employees are not allowed to work more than 1500 hours in a calendar year. Hours vary, depending upon accommodated employee needs. The anticipated time worked will be 28 hours per week. T he employee will receive an hourly compensation based on the number of hours worked.
