The Senior Control Automation Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and strategic automation upgrades to support long-term business objectives.This is a high-impact role for an engineer looking to leverage technical expertise and leadership skills in a dynamic, innovative environment with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.**Work Location** This position is based onsite at our Sunnyvale, California facility**Work Authorization**Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.**What You’ll Do:*** Ensure plant and equipment are maintained and operated in accordance with the required standards* Troubleshoot and maintain advanced electrical control systems and PLC/DCS systems in a semiconductor production environment* Responsible for software programming of Factory Automation system* Support the new equipment design reviews when required to review the status of the machine design and provide input in reference to the plant's specifications and good design practice.* Responsible for coordinating the implementation of engineering changes and assisting various departments with the implementation of new tools and processes and required training.* Be an active mentor to other engineers and share best practices with them, including training on technical aspects of systems and troubleshooting, and providing feedback to support growth and development.* Teach technicians on how to calibrate and repair complex semiconductor equipment* Proactively work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.* Make suggestions to management for improving this position or improving work processes.* Work safely by observing safety rules, policies and procedures.
