Job Purpose
The position is responsible for increasing Customer Pay Repair Orders and Parts/Accessory sales for AHM by driving customers to dealerships for vehicle maintenance and repairs via direct mail, email, and digital channels on AHM's Service Prospecting (SPS) Programs. The SPS marketing suite, consisting of Seasonals, OnDemands, Metro Mailers, and Service Prognostics allows dealers to communicate directly with Lapsed and Inactive customer segments, encouraging them to service their vehicle, for both Honda and Acura brands.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and coordinate the execution of SPS Marketing Programs in partnership with agencies, internal teams, and management, overseeing a $16M annual budget. Responsible for the development of program strategy, creative direction, reporting, enrollment initiatives, publications, and daily operational decision-making.
- Create and deliver executive-level presentations and performance reports outlining program status, key metrics, and strategic recommendations. Develop support materials such as Sell Sheets and Quick Start Guides, ensuring clear communication across all Honda and Acura field teams and dealerships.
- Contribute to cross-functional ASP and Customer Experience (CX) initiatives, including Service Prognostics, that drive value across American Honda Motor Co
- Provide mentorship to junior team members by offering training, vendor and program management guidance, and support in removing operational roadblocks.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or equivalent work experience
- 5-10+ years in combination of automotive sales, parts, service, research, and marketing experience
- Strong project planning, organizing and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills (required)
- Process management skills such as System Trees, PDCA, Cap-Do, 5-P, and SWOT
- Proficiency with MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on PPT and Excel
Working Conditions
- This position will require 0-5% of traveling domestically.
- On site with in-office days on the Torrance campus.
