Come be a part of the historic Helms Bakery in Culver City at our newly renovated and state-of-the-art Market, owned and operated by Michelin-rated Chef Sang Yoon . Our concept features an in-house Bakery, Deli, Coffee Shop , and a highly curated Retail Market . We are currently hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our team.

Schedule:
Start time: 5:30 AM
Full-Time: 30–40 hours/week

Position Overview:

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accurate receiving, auditing, tracking, and storage of all goods for the Helms Bakery Market. This role involves hands-on work and administrative duties and requires the ability to meet physical demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, audit, and document all incoming deliveries (culinary, beverage, retail, paper goods, etc.)
• Review, code , and scan invoices for accounting and inventory systems
• Maintain an organized system for storing and submitting invoices to our accountant
• Supervise and assist with stocking, rotation, and storage of all items according to food safety standards
• Keep receiving areas, dry storage, walk-ins, and freezers clean and organized
• Communicate effectively with department leads and vendors to ensure accuracy in deliveries
• Restock the retail fridge as time permits
• Potential for additional kitchen support based on experience

Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory, receiving, or similar operational roles
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout your shift
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable with administrative tasks and basic data entry
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Prior retail inventory clerk experience a plus
• Experience supervising or leading a small team is a bonus
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Compensation & Benefits:

• Starting at $24.00/hour , depending on experience

• Must be able to reliably commute to Culver City (90034)
• Willing to relocate before starting , if applicable
