Job Description and Duties

Under the Events Operations Manager, the HR professional will play a key role in enhancing State Fund’s culture by planning and executing in-person employee events, supporting strategic initiatives and building programs that drive connection and employee experience across the organization. This role requires a high level of organization, creativity and initiative as well as the ability to deliver high quality results while managing competing deadlines.
Desired Skills :
- Ability to plan, manage and execute multiple events and projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines
- Knowledge of event management principals, practices, and logistics coordination
- Highly adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Zoom, and various apps/technology/software
- Knowledge of enterprise engagement and connection strategies and trends.
- Strong project management and presentation skills with proven track record to follow through and deliver quality results
- Proven ability to assess and understand issues, interpret policies or data, and quickly identify the best possible solution(s)
- Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, and ability to gain consensus/cooperation of others
- Superb interpersonal skills; collaborates and creates with others through vision, prioritization, and detailed execution
- Demonstrated ability to act independently while exercising sound judgment, flexibility, patience, tact, and diplomacy
- Organized and detail oriented; can be counted on to successfully exceed goals and is consistently a top performer
- Business acumen; ability to operationalize plans, implement new ideas, and commitment to continuous process improvement

Working Conditions
The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
Selected candidate(s) hired may be required to attend in-person Onboarding at our Vacaville office with expenses for attendance paid by State Fund.
