Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm

We are actively seeking an Inventory & Production Coordinator to join a medical device and biotech manufacturer that supports highly regulated, precision-driven production. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced inventory professional who enjoys ownership, accuracy, and cross-functional teamwork, and who is ready to help keep materials, records, and warehouse flow running smoothly. Call Brett at 510-597-3600 to apply.

Reasons to Join this Team:

  • Join a mission-driven environment where your work directly supports products used in medical and biotech applications.
  • Step into a role with real day-to-day impact across inventory, shipping, receiving, and production support.
  • Work with a team that values accountability, teamwork, trust, and continuous improvement.
  • Use your experience to strengthen inventory accuracy, traceability, and operational efficiency.
  • Be part of a stable, quality-focused organization that values proactive problem-solving and process discipline.

What You’ll Do

  • Receive raw materials and confirm purchase order details, packing slips, part numbers, quantities, dimensions, and supplier information.
  • Record receipts in the ERP system and assign internal lot or batch identification for traceability.
  • Perform incoming inspections, including visual checks, dimensional verification, and certificate review.
  • Segregate and route nonconforming material according to procedure to prevent unintended use.
  • Organize, review, and file certificates of conformance and connect them to the correct internal lot records.
  • Maintain complete traceability from supplier heat or lot through internal jobs and finished goods.
  • Store materials in clearly labeled locations and keep bin records current and accurate.
  • Support cycle counts, investigate variances, and help drive corrective actions that improve accuracy.
  • Package and label materials for outside processing, ensuring required documentation and routing details are included.
  • Partner closely with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to resolve shortages, overages, and inventory issues quickly.

To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
  • Prior leadership experience is preferred.
  • Experience with cutting, measuring with calipers, kitting, and staging materials for manufacturing, preferably in a machine shop setting.
  • Proficiency with ERP or WMS systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of cycle counting, reconciliation, shipping, and receiving practices.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, steady approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a strong track record of equivalent, relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
