Job Description and Duties

*This position is limited term for 12 months. This position may be terminated at any time or may become permanent at a later date.

Metropolitan State Hospital is located in the city of Norwalk.

Under the direction of the Custodian Supervisor II, supervise, direct, and train custodial staff in the enviornmental care, cleaning, and maintenance of the hospital. Serves the role of working supervisor in performing the duties of general housekeeping tasks with assigned work areas and performs other duties as assigned. Conducts daily inspections in all assigned work areas and records all findings, focusing on custodial practices, sanitation, safety hazards, improvements, preventions, etc.
