About the Role:
We’re seeking a fun, engaging, and energetic California-credentialed teacher to homeschool two first-grade students in a private home setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys working in a close-knit, personalized learning environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Morning sessions, 2–3 hours per day (Monday–Friday preferred)

• Hourly Rate: Competitive and negotiable, based on experience

• Start Date: ASAP – we are hiring immediately!

• Class Size: Just two delightful and curious students

• Location: Private home

What We’re Looking For:

• Active California Teaching Credential (required)

• Experience teaching 1st grade or early elementary students

• Creative, organized, and enthusiastic teaching style

• Strong communication skills and a nurturing attitude

• Previous homeschool or small group instruction experience a plus

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction in core 1st grade subjects

• Customize lesson plans to meet individual learning styles and goals

• Foster a fun, safe, and structured learning environment

• Provide regular feedback and updates to parents
