Product Development Manager
Negotiate costs for artwork setup, printing, and storage when applicable.
Analyze label development costs to maximize profitability.
Communicate lead times, development status, and costs with customers.
Oversee work orders, labels, and proofs for accuracy, ensuring spelling, grammar, and branding consistency.
Organize printer conference calls to review negotiations and performance.
Manage workflows for label development across different stages.
Provide responsive support to both internal and external customer inquiries.
Collaborate with logistics and sales teams to ensure supply chain efficiency and timely label reorders.
Coordinate with purchasing and account teams on order trends, formula changes, and special customer requests.
Archive new label samples, maintain product displays, and prepare for trade shows.
Track costs and determine responsible parties for cost absorption.
Develop training materials and guide team members on processes and procedures. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience as a Product Development Manager, preferably in the CPG industry. International experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
Familiarity with pre-press, proofing systems, packaging substrates, and various printing methods (e.g., flexo, rotogravure, litho).
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and urgent issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with strong attention to detail in grammar and proofreading.
Team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Bilingual skills are a plus. Compensation & Benefits: Annual salary: $66,500-$79,830 (commensurate with experience).
