Sales Account Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sales Account Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Fremont, CA, supporting key ODM customer relationships within the telecommunications and data networking markets. This role is ideal for a consultative B2B sales professional who understands OEM/ODM hardware business models, technical products, customer relationship management, and revenue growth within electronics, components, semiconductor, telecom, or networking environments. The Sales Account Manager will serve as the lead contact for assigned strategic accounts, helping customers solve business and technical challenges while identifying new program opportunities. This position offers strong visibility across sales, product management, business development, project management, quality, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned ODM accounts in telecom and data networking markets.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision makers while ensuring prompt service and high customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer communications, including pricing negotiations, contract reviews, order activity, RMA returns, conflict resolution, and account follow-up.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and sales strategies.
- Create and deliver presentations covering company capabilities, product roadmaps, value propositions, and customer-specific solutions.
- Maintain accurate customer interaction, opportunity, and activity records in the CRM while supporting revenue target achievement. Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $80,000 to $104,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage key ODM/OEM customer relationships in telecom, data networking, network computing, or related technology markets.- Develop and execute account plans that support quarterly revenue targets and long-term account growth.
- Lead pricing negotiations, contract discussions, customer communications, order coordination, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with product management, business development, marketing, project management, and quality teams to meet customer requirements. - Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of ODM/OEM experience in network computing, telecommunications, data networking, or a similar technical hardware field.
- Experience level aligned with 6-10 years of professional sales, account management, or business development experience.
- Proven B2B sales success with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of ODM/OEM hardware business models and technical product value selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and ability to resolve order, inventory, and customer satisfaction challenges.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating across internal teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using CRM systems to document customer activity, opportunities, and account progress. Preferred Qualifications - STEM degree preferred.
- Experience with Zoho CRM or a similar customer relationship management platform.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the telecommunications and data networking industries.
- Experience presenting technical product roadmaps, value propositions, and customer-specific solutions to executive or technical stakeholders.
