Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a customer-facing engineering team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications. This role focuses on delivering high-quality front-end and back-end solutions using React and Node.js, while also contributing to architectural decisions and engineering best practices.

The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with product managers, solution architects, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into well-designed technical solutions. This role also plays an important part in mentoring team members and driving consistent engineering standards across the delivery team.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, excellent collaboration skills, and a passion for building reliable, maintainable software.

Design and implement front-end and back-end features using React, Node.js, and modern web technologies

Contribute to software architecture decisions with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability

Identify, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning activities

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, QA, and engineering stakeholders to align technical solutions with customer needs

Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, best practices, and knowledge sharing

Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and modern development practices

Ensure delivered solutions meet quality, security, and compliance expectations

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript (HTML, CSS)

Hands-on experience developing Node.js back-end services

Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs

Solid understanding of software design, architecture, and scalability

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience Experience working with cloud-native architectures

Familiarity with .NET or C# in full-stack or hybrid environments

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices

Exposure to security best practices and compliance-driven development environments

Experience working on large-scale or enterprise applications
