Reddit, Inc. seeks Software Engineer III in San Francisco, CA.

Job Duties: Design, build and ship scalable backend services powering experiences for Reddit users. Code and collaborate actively with product managers and designers to create compelling user experiences, ensuring that technical implementations align with user and business needs. Develop robust backend services using Go and Python programming languages. Integrate services with databases, Kafka for message processing, and S3 for data storage and management. Write and maintain tests (unit, integration, performance) to ensure code quality and functionality. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Go and Python Programming Languages; (2) PostgreSQL; (3) Cassandra; (4) Redis; (5) S3; (6) Kafka; (7) Docker and Kubernetes; (8) Prometheus and Grafana; (9) CI/CD. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.

The base pay range for this position is: $237,421.00 - $267,100.00 USD
