Vineyard Assistant/ Irrigator Specialist

OPENING:
We currently are seeking a regular full time Vineyard Assistant/Irrigator Specialist. This is an hourly, non-exempt position and will be based at our Healdsburg, CA location.

Join our team as a Vineyard Assistant/Irrigator Specialist and learn the art and science of viticulture while using cutting-edge technology like Lumo, Vintrace, and ESRI. This position offers the chance to gain knowledge and skills that may support long-term career development.

What You’ll Do:
• Support all vineyard operations: irrigation, frost protection, fertilization, pest/disease control, canopy management, and harvest.
• Assist with vineyard development projects: land prep, trellis and irrigation installation, planting.
• Operate and maintain irrigation systems using smart technology; perform repairs and testing.
• Keep accurate electronic records and monitor weather for frost protection.
• Operate tractors, harvesters, and other equipment as needed.
• Take on special projects and learn advanced vineyard practices.

What We’re Looking For:
• Degree in Viticulture or related field OR 2–3 years of vineyard experience.
• Tech-savvy and eager to learn new ag technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Requires lifting up to 40 lbs and repetitive physical tasks
• Clean DMV record; Class A license a plus.
