Oscar is building a cutting-edge software platform focused on creating a new category of enterprise data infrastructure known as the “Data Layer for the Autonomous Enterprise.” The company works on mapping and understanding complex enterprise workflows at scale, processing large volumes of real-time data to help organizations better understand how work is executed across systems and teams. The Full Stack Engineer role is designed for highly skilled engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving complex, undefined technical challenges.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and shipping high-performance full-stack systems using modern TypeScript-based technologies. You will work on real-time data pipelines, backend infrastructure, and production-grade LLM integrations. This is a hands-on engineering position that involves direct collaboration with customers, product ownership, and end-to-end responsibility for system design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Full Stack Development:
- Build and ship TypeScript-first full-stack applications at high speed
- Develop modern frontend interfaces using React and related tooling
- Work with backend frameworks such as NestJS or similar technologies
- Collaborate on system architecture and scalable application design
Data Systems & Infrastructure:
- Design and maintain real-time data pipelines handling large-scale event processing
- Work with PostgreSQL and SQL-based data systems
- Build cloud-native infrastructure using AWS or GCP
- Implement CI/CD workflows and containerized environments using Docker
AI & LLM Integration:
- Build and deploy production-level LLM-based systems (not prototypes)
- Integrate AI APIs into scalable, real-world applications
- Enhance system intelligence using modern AI tools and frameworks
Product & Ownership:
- Work directly with customers to understand requirements and pain points
- Take full ownership of features from design to deployment
- Solve complex, undefined problems without relying on predefined roadmaps
- Contribute to shaping the overall product direction
Engineering Excellence:
- Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code
- Participate in system-level thinking and architectural decisions
- Continuously improve performance, scalability, and reliability
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript (mandatory requirement)
- Experience with React and modern frontend tooling (e.g., Vite, TanStack)
- Backend development experience (NestJS or similar frameworks)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Practical experience building with LLM APIs in real-world applications
Bonus Skills:
- Terraform and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Python development experience
- Monorepo architecture familiarity
- Strong systems design thinking
