Automotive Technician I

Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Electronics Technician Supervisor, the Automotive Technician I is responsible for the continued assembly of wiring configurations, maintenance of emergency warning light systems, construction of processor controlled interfaces, recondition of reused emergency components, and vehicle pre-delivery inspection for the electrical assembly area.

Working Conditions

The Automotive Technician I will work both indoors and outdoors. While indoors, the temperature and humidity are reasonably controlled, and while outdoors, the employee is exposed to climatic conditions.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.

Lift 60 pounds in weight, be able to work in varying, and sometimes extreme temperatures, and have strong interpersonal/verbal communication skills; and good attendance and punctuality.
