About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Lawndale, CA. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs while delivering exceptional service from start to finish. You will also be responsible for accurately processing sales transactions and supporting the overall store environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, learning new products, and working in a collaborative team setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a positive buying experience.
- Efficiently process sales transactions and operate the POS system.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area.
- Restock inventory and ensure products are properly displayed.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold the company’s service and operational standards.
- Learn and retain product knowledge to offer informed solutions and support customer needs.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust and assist customers effectively.
- Sales and Sales Management experience to drive revenue and meet business objectives.
- Training experience to help educate team members and customers on product use and benefits.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Knowledge of construction materials and tools is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or customer service is a plus
