Annual Giving Senior Director

Reporting to the Senior Vice President and in collaboration with Foundation staff, the Senior Director of Annual Giving develops and implements the annual giving strategies and programs that include identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual gifts from all constituents including, but not limited to patients, existing donors, staff and friends, in order to fulfill the mission and philanthropic priorities of Eisenhower Health.

- Essential Responsibilities
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Plans, develops, and implements a comprehensive, fiscal year plan with objectives, timelines and evaluation plans for the annual giving program including mass communication channels (direct mail, e-mail, digital, social media and calling strategies).
- Sets fiscal year dollar and donor participation goals in consultation with Senior Vice President; creates metrics and reports progress toward goals throughout the year.
- Sets vision for the annual giving efforts related to the priorities of the multi-year, comprehensive campaign.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the Community Giving team to achieve fundraising goals
- Develops and maintains relationships with current and prospective donors. Prepare and present compelling cases for support to donors, conveying the impact of their contributions.
- Creates annual giving messaging and solicitation toolkit for Foundation to assist with giving links, giving forms, QR codes, to be used on websites, newsletters, business cards, event collateral, etc.
- Spearhead the launch of the Eisenhower Health Foundation social media (Instagram) to increase engagement with donors through education and awareness.
- Identify, contract with and manage outside vendors to provide mailing, creative and data services
- Works closely with Foundation Communications Team to determine appropriate timing of annual giving activity and ensure that the hospital's brand and integrated communication strategies are appropriately reflected in all solicitations and donor communications.
- Creates compelling stories and profiles to educate patients and constituents about the role and impact of philanthropy.
- Coordinates with Foundation Data team in the maintenance and accuracy of donor records within the database and file records to improve donor reach and retention.
- Builds and maintains processes and procedures for the acknowledgement and stewardship of donors at the annual giving levels.
- Leverages data analysis to drive future strategies. Collaborating with colleagues, develops robust reporting and analytical tools to analyze current fundraising strategies and inform future efforts.
- Builds systems and processes to grow and strengthen the donor pipeline. Identifies potential major gift and planned gift prospects from the annual giving donor pool.
- Work with appropriate colleagues to research, identify and ensure timely submission of grant opportunities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
