Staff Accountant
Santa Ana, CA | $30-$33/hr
Service/Construction Related Industry
Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
Analyze account variances and support financial reporting.
Maintain fixed asset records and support audit requests.
Partner with AP, AR, Billing, and Operations on accounting-related matters.
Assist with job costing, project accounting, and compliance reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and internal controls. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience required (Dynamics GP preferred).
Experience with job costing or project-based accounting is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
