Sales and Administrative Assistant

: Oxnard Pallet Company, a family-owned business and industry leader for the past 30 years, is seeking a dedicated and organized Sales & Administrative Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Answer and manage office phones professionally, ensuring clear communication with clients and team members.
• Process orders and assist with related administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record maintenance.
• Operate cash register and handle payment processing as required.
• Compose and respond to emails and letters with clarity and professionalism.
• Collaborate with production, delivery, and accounting teams to support order processing and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and correspondence.
• Provide administrative support for various projects as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist with tasks outside of typical duties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Proficiency with office phones, cash registers, and computer systems (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to various tasks.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
