Job Description

The Facilities Maintenance Technician I position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including handling abandoned goods, pest control, power washing, and assisting with shared duties. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Abandon Goods : Sorting, moving, and disposal of abandoned goods.
• Pest Control : Baiting, cleaning, spraying, and exclusionary work to manage pests.
• Power Washing : Cleaning exterior walls, doors, and drive-thru tunnels using power washing equipment.
• Maintenance II Shared Duties :
  • Parking stall striping and IDs.
  • Unit floor stain cleaning.
  • Unit wall repairs.
  • Door seals and lubrication.
  • Assisting Maintenance II technicians with safety and difficult tasks.
• Reporting : Identifying and reporting needed repairs to ensure timely maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to transport, lift and move items up to 50lbs
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of pest control methods and equipment.
• Experience with power washing equipment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and be proficient in leaning new vendor software applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range : $26.45 - $28.85

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s

qualifications

, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of our total awards approach to compensation which is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses or incentives.
