Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Information Technology Division Life Outcome Improvement System (LOIS) Section Chief, the incumbent is responsible for project management support activities. The incumbent will assist the Project Managers and Project Leadership in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing project activities in alignment with established project management methodologies and best practices, and departmental standards. The position supports work across all phases of the project lifecycle and ensures project activities are well-organized, well-documented, and effectively communicated. The incumbent performs a variety of project coordination duties, including developing and maintaining project documentation, tracking risks and issues, tracking action items, creating and updating project management plans, documenting meeting notes, coordinating project communications, and managing the project’s SharePoint site. The position also supports business analysis functions, procurement and contract activities, and general administrative responsibilities associated with the LOIS Project.

Effective July 1, 2025, State employees are subject to a salary reduction of three percent in exchange for five hours per month of the Personal Leave.
