Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room to join a dynamic surgical team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will be skilled in perioperative nursing care and comfortable working in fast-paced surgical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms with required instruments and sterile equipment
- Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures
- Monitor patient status and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Support patient and family education regarding surgical care
Requirements
- Active RN license (state license in hand)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA)
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
