NAVER Ventures is NAVER's venture capital arm that has invested in over 100 innovative tech startups from the seed stage. It is now expanding more heavily into the U.S. early-stage companies across AI, Consumer, and Enterprise Software. - Assist primarily on due diligence of new investment prospects, including financial modeling, customer diligence and other research
- Use financial models and market research to assess the viability and growth potential of companies
- Support the investment decisions of the firm through financial modeling, market size analysis, and business development
- Understand broader industry trends, major players, and disruptive technologies
- Collaborate with the Korea Ventures team to create new market insights/deep dives and feedback into Ventures' thesis-driven approach to investing
- As an intern within the Ventures US team, you will assist the deal leaders in sourcing, evaluating, and managing early-stage venture investment opportunities.

- Education : Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in business, economics, finance, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus, but not required).
- Analytical Skills : Strong quantitative skills with experience in financial modeling, valuation, and market research.
- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex ideas clearly and consistently.
- Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with the venture capital landscape and emerging technologies or industries is highly desirable.
- Self-Starter : Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Team Player : Ability to collaborate and contribute to a small, tight-knit team.
- Bilingual Language Skills : Fluent in both written and spoken Korean and English.
- Strong technical background in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Deep understanding of the AI landscape and its various sub-sectors
- Internship experience in venture capital or a related field
- Job type: Full-time (Summer Internship)
- Contract period: 10-12 weeks
- Location: Hybrid work with 1~2 days/week working at the office in Redwood City, CA
- Pay: $30/hr
- Please note: This position is based in the SF Bay Area, California. It requires working in the office 1~2 days a week. Also, to be eligible, applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (CPT/OPT required for F-1 international students). Sponsorship for employment visa status is unavailable.
