Car Detailing Technician

J&W Mobile Detailing is looking for a reliable, hardworking Mobile Auto Detail Technician to help complete high-quality interior and exterior detailing services on customer vehicles throughout the Bay Area. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, shows up on time, and wants to grow with a professional detailing business.

Responsibilities:

• Perform exterior washes, decontamination, spray protection, and basic paint enhancement prep.
• Perform interior vacuuming, wipe-downs, shampooing, stain removal, and deep cleaning.
• Assist with ceramic coating prep and other premium detailing services.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tools, products, towels, and equipment.
• Safely work around customer vehicles and property.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Identify opportunities for approved add-on services.
• Help maintain quality standards on every vehicle.

Requirements:

• Prior car detailing or automotive cleaning experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Able to lift detailing equipment and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
• Must be dependable, coachable, and willing to follow company systems and standards.
• Weekend availability is a plus.

Compensation:

• Pay is performance-based at 25% of each completed job.
• Additional earning opportunities may be available through approved add-on services and bonuses.
• Compensation is handled in compliance with applicable California wage laws.
